Technical and PM teams fluency supercharge
Webstar shows what a well-run communication programme can look like when the challenge is breadth: different starting levels, different role pressures and a need for practical visibility across the programme.
Programme focus
Live tasks were built around presentations, clarification, professional goals, collaborative problem-solving and persuasive speaking. The point was not to make every learner look identical. It was to help different teams become more usable, confident and clear in real work conversations.
What made the programme valuable
The structure created visibility without reducing the programme to admin. SmartLingo could show broad patterns, identify next-step needs and keep a practical conversation with the client about what was improving and where more support was needed.
Why this mattersFor larger programmes, the difficult part is not arranging sessions. It is keeping the delivery practical while still giving leadership confidence that the programme is moving somewhere useful.
Kentico • current programme
Communication performance in context
Kentico is a strong example of SmartLingo's performance-oriented model. The programme work goes beyond “general English” and focuses on how people communicate when the stakes are higher: explaining ideas, persuading, presenting, negotiating and responding under pressure.
Assessment design
The checkpoint was designed around live use: discussion, presentation, persuasive pitching, problem-solving and workplace interaction under time pressure. That makes the reporting more meaningful than a delayed, textbook-style score.
What became actionable
The reports supported continuation planning: which learners needed more concise executive messaging, where spontaneous speaking needed support, who was ready for more stretch and which communication behaviours were already strong.
90.2
A recent assessed cohort benchmark that matters because it is tied to observed behaviour and clear next-step planning, not just a final number.

BOS • current German programme
German speaking acceleration
The BOS work illustrates why SmartLingo designs programmes around people, not just levels. Learners can sit inside the same company and still need very different learning routes: one may be a complete beginner, another may understand more than they can say, another may have a stronger base but still freeze in live conversation.
The shared workplace need
Understand more of what colleagues are saying, join conversations with less hesitation, follow meetings and presentations more comfortably, and develop vocabulary through practical context.
What SmartLingo changed
Instead of forcing one route, the programme design responded to the real barrier for each learner. That is what creates faster usable progress in speaking confidence and comprehension.
Why this mattersEven in a small programme, smart design matters. Different learners do not benefit equally from the same pace, same tasks or same support structure.
Patterns Consulting • ongoing relationship
Individual learning achievements
Patterns Consulting demonstrates SmartLingo's role-based approach particularly well. Diagnostic and learning tasks were built around project work, analytics, explanation, missed deadlines, process communication and client-facing clarity.
Why those tasks matter
They show far more than whether someone remembers a rule. They reveal how a person structures a professional explanation, whether a process is easy to follow, where vocabulary limits an otherwise strong message and how clearly somebody communicates under real work pressure.
What the client experience highlights
The relationship has been strengthened by personalised support, practical relevance and the feeling that the programme is built around the learner rather than around a generic course path.
Human
People stay more engaged when the tutoring feels personal, relevant and clearly connected to the work they actually do.

Precognox • past programme
A concluded client relationship that still shows strong delivery.
Precognox is no longer an active SmartLingo client, and we label it clearly that way. It remains a valuable example because it shows the quality of delivery SmartLingo can maintain over time: multiple learning profiles, recurring reporting and clear tutor quality reflected in client feedback.
What the reporting showed
The tutor commentary captured the real texture of progress. Some employees were becoming noticeably more confident. Some needed more vocabulary. Some were highly engaged. Others were affected by workload and attendance. That is more credible and more useful than pretending every learner is a perfect success story.
Client feedback
A published client survey recorded 4.88 out of 5 for tutor satisfaction. That is valuable not as a marketing line on its own, but because it sits alongside structured delivery and consistent reporting practice.
Why this mattersPast programmes still matter when they demonstrate reliable teaching quality, honest reporting and a communication-focused learning design.
